Be part of the U.S. Trade Policy and Negotiations Unit as a Trade Policy Advisor for the Ministry of Economic Development in Toronto. Drive policy initiatives and analyses that enhance Ontario’s economic interests.
This temporary role allows you to engage in critical trade negotiations and manage the implications of U.S. trade policies on Ontario. Candidates should exhibit strong research skills and an understanding of trade policy frameworks that influence decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor U.S. trade actions impacting Ontario
• Analyze and recommend actions on trade policy
• Conduct research and implement trade initiatives
• Collaborate with internal and external partners
• Present findings and recommendations to senior officials
Requirements:
• Insight into federal and provincial trade priorities
• Experience in policy development and research methods
• Highly developed communication and consulting skills
• Ability to juggle multiple deadlines effectively
