Stakeholder Engagement Advisor

Join the Toronto Parking Authority as a Stakeholder Engagement Advisor. This role centers on managing key community relationships and requires strategic engagement with diverse stakeholders.

The Advisor will assist the Director in fostering partnerships with industry players, local councillors, and governmental bodies. This position demands strong interpersonal skills to engage multiple teams and resolve complex stakeholder issues effectively. The adviser will also monitor City Council agendas and represent the authority at stakeholder meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage key stakeholders, including BIAs and local governments

• Build relationships and advance organizational interests

• Liaise with local councillors on Toronto Parking Authority matters

• Represent the organization at community meetings

• Monitor City Council agendas for pivotal updates

Requirements:

• University degree in Political Science or related discipline

• Minimum four years in stakeholder or community relations

• Knowledge of land use and transportation planning

• Experience with public sector engagement preferred

• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder collaborations
