Drive impactful housing solutions in Toronto as a Policy Development Officer within the Housing Secretariat. Enhance housing security through strategic policy and program initiatives.
In this full-time, on-site position, your role is crucial in advancing the Housing Stability Services mission. Utilize your expertise in policy formulation, program evaluation, and community collaboration to shape responsive housing solutions. Your work will directly influence the City’s HousingTO Action Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer budgetary controls for policy matters
• Conduct research and support policy/program development
• Lead community engagement and consultation processes
• Prepare detailed reports and proposals for senior management
• Facilitate training and accountability frameworks
Requirements:
• Education in public administration or comparable field
• Experience in housing-related legislative processes
• Strong project management capabilities
• Excellent analytical and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to foster collaborative relationships
