Become a pivotal leader at Dillon as a Senior Indigenous Rights and Consultation Lead. Your focus on project management and Indigenous rights consultation will play a vital role in fostering community relationships across Canada.
You will be tasked with leading assessments related to Aboriginal and Treaty rights while providing critical guidance on the Duty to Consult. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to socio-economic data collection and develop resources that support Indigenous interests. Your strong background in communication and mentorship will enhance the impact of Dillon's projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support Aboriginal and Treaty rights assessments
• Communicate effectively with clients and communities
• Conduct in-depth research and legislative reviews
• Manage project teams and coordinate activities
• Develop high-quality reports aligned with cultural protocols
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
• 15+ years of consulting experience
• Deep understanding of Indigenous Peoples' contexts
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Willingness to travel for project needs
