At Sick Kids, you will engage with the Child Health Policy Accelerator, driving policy objectives that positively impact children and youth. You will lead the development of advocacy strategies, monitor relevant legislation, and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. Your expertise in public policy and healthcare dynamics will be critical for ensuring successful implementation of strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development of position papers and policy briefs
• Monitor provincial and federal legislative activities
• Build relationships with advocacy leaders and content experts
• Support internal and external communications
• Develop strategies aligned with policy objectives
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in a relevant field
• Minimum five years in public policy or public affairs
• Experience with federal or provincial governments
• Knowledge of Canadian child health policy landscape
• Strong written and oral communication skills
