Bilingual Compliance Officer at RPRA

Protect the environment as a Bilingual Compliance Officer with the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority (RPRA) in Ontario. Your work will ensure regulatory compliance and promote sustainability through waste reduction efforts.

As a Bilingual Compliance Officer, you will support Ontario's circular economy initiatives by enforcing regulations under the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act.

Your role will involve data verification, inspections, and ensuring compliance with waste diversion programs. You will collaborate with regulated parties and contribute to meaningful environmental outcomes through your inspections and compliance actions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review registrant data for compliance accuracy

• Conduct inspections to identify compliance issues

• Manage and close compliance cases effectively

• Provide regulatory guidance and training

• Develop compliance materials and communications

Requirements:

• Six years of regulatory compliance experience

• Mandatory fluency in French

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of data management techniques

• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
