This internship provides an excellent platform for Indigenous youth interested in careers tied to planning and housing. Collaborate with Senior Planners on project tasks while conducting important research and contributing to planning justification reports. You'll also delve into housing market trends and support the development of impactful reports for clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Senior Planners with project-related tasks
• Conduct research on zoning and municipal policies
• Perform data analysis to inform planning decisions
• Compile data into coherent reports with visuals
• Clearly communicate findings for diverse audiences
Requirements:
• Indigenous youth aged 30 or under
• Currently enrolled in urban planning or social sciences
• Interest in community and housing development
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with research tools is a plus
