Position: Policy Development Officer for Housing Stability
Become a key player in Toronto’s housing stability efforts as a Policy Development Officer with the Housing Secretariat. Lead transformative policy development and program evaluation initiatives.

This full-time, in-person role focuses on advancing housing security and preventing homelessness. You will guide policy design, foster essential partnerships, and manage projects that lead to improved service quality. Your strategic communication and analytical skills will shape the future of housing in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic financial and policy recommendations

• Develop comprehensive guidelines for program implementation

• Lead public consultation and task force initiatives

• Analyze and evaluate existing housing programs

• Represent the City in collaborative policy efforts

Requirements:

• Degree in social science, public policy, or equivalent

• Extensive experience in project management and policy analysis

• Deep understanding of housing policy and related legislation

• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities

• Willingness to engage with diverse community stakeholders
