As the Director of Ontario Government Relations at the CBA, you will report directly to the Senior Vice President. This role involves developing and executing outreach strategies to engage with government representatives and stakeholders. You will address inquiries from member banks and participate actively in legislative engagement planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide information and advice to CBA staff and member banks
• Assist in preparation for legislative committee engagements
• Collaborate with CBA committees for advocacy efforts
• Review CBA submissions to provincial governments
• Develop and manage special projects with government representatives
Requirements:
• Proven experience in government relations
• Strong communication skills with policymakers
• Ability to collaborate across multiple divisions
• Experience with advocacy and outreach strategies
• Background in banking or related sector
