CreateTO seeks two interns to assist in delivering affordable housing projects within the municipal context. Ideal candidates are Indigenous youth (First Nations, Inuit, or Métis) currently pursuing relevant post-secondary studies.
Your role will include various planning, coordination, and project support activities, providing critical insights into public sector development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in city-building and housing project coordination
• Support utility coordination and infrastructure initiatives
• Participate in construction oversight and site visits
• Conduct property research and manage project documents
• Collaborate with teams and track project milestones
Requirements:
• Indigenous youth, 30 years of age or younger
• Currently enrolled in urban planning or similar disciplines
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Interest in infrastructure and housing initiatives
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is beneficial
