As a key advisor, you will tackle policy development and offer valuable recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
Your role will support senior management in making informed decisions that enhance fire services. Cross-department collaboration is critical for producing effective policy initiatives that impact the community positively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide senior-level strategic policy advice on initiatives
• Develop and evaluate action plans that improve service delivery
• Liaise with City Divisions to create impactful policies
• Manage research and prepare recommendations for policy issues
• Represent the Division at relevant committees and meetings
Requirements:
• Education in public administration or relevant experience
• Extensive background in strategic policy and project development
• Strong experience in report writing for senior leaders
• Proficient in managing projects with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent judgment in handling sensitive information
Contribute to the ongoing success of the City of Toronto's fire services through thoughtful policy advisement and development.
