As the Government Relations Consultant, you will collaborate with senior leadership to align policy activities with corporate objectives. Your expertise in public policy, communication, and stakeholder relations will be critical in navigating complex issues. Key Responsibilities:
• Represent Toronto Hydro in sensitive political situations
• Liaise with elected officials to resolve issues
• Execute strategies to mitigate emerging risks
• Generate analysis on municipal and provincial issues
• Conduct government report reviews to inform advocacy
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Political Science or related field
• Five years in public policy or government relations
• Experience writing briefing notes
• Strong knowledge of municipal processes
• Proven relationship management skills
