Drive successful stakeholder engagement as the Advisor for Community Engagement at the Toronto Parking Authority. This role requires expertise in managing relationships with key partners and navigating municipal dynamics.
You'll support the Director in building essential connections with industry players, BIAs, and local government bodies. This role is crucial for addressing stakeholder requests and representing the authority at various meetings while ensuring consistent communication about ongoing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with community partners and industry stakeholders
• Manage councillor relationships and address concerns
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership
• Monitor City Council agendas and key issues
• Facilitate collaboration across functional teams
Requirements:
• Relevant university degree in Political Science or related field
• Four years of experience in stakeholder engagement
• Knowledge of public policy and urban planning advantageous
• Experience in government preferred
• Proven collaboration and project management skills
