Drive policy change for child health at The Hospital for Sick Children as a Senior Policy Advisor. This position leverages advocacy skills to influence pediatric health policies in a hybrid work setting.
In this vital role with Sick Kids, you will support the Child Health Policy Accelerator in creating comprehensive advocacy strategies. You'll monitor policy developments, contribute to position papers, and engage with health authorities and advocacy groups. Experience in government and a deep understanding of child health policy will enable you to make a significant impact on children's lives across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead position papers and government submissions
• Track legislative developments affecting child health
• Foster relationships with health policy stakeholders
• Assist in communication strategies with partners
• Create advocacy strategies to meet policy objectives
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in Political Management or related field
• Five years of public policy experience
• Proven track record in policy implementation
• Knowledge of pediatric health regulatory processes
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
