The CBA seeks a Director of Ontario Government Relations to report to the Senior Vice President. In this role, you will spearhead outreach strategies and manage interactions with government officials. Your focus will be on responding to inquiries and coordinating CBA engagement efforts in legislative settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise CBA staff and member banks on industry matters
• Plan legislative committee engagement strategies
• Engage CBA committees in advocacy initiatives
• Review CBA government submissions for relevancy
• Coordinate special projects with banking industry leaders
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in advocacy and government relations
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Familiarity with the banking industry
• Strong project management skills
