Senior Government Affairs Manager at IESO

You will oversee a high-performing team and report directly to the Director of Government Affairs. Your focus will be to ensure that IESO's business objectives align with provincial legislation while providing strategic advice to internal stakeholders. Leveraging your expertise in government relations, you will influence key decisions that impact the electricity sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain government partnerships
• Conduct strategic discussions with senior executives
• Mentor and guide the Government Affairs team
• Assess legislative changes affecting IESO objectives
• Provide leadership on confidential labour relations matters
Requirements:
• 8-10 years of government affairs experience
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in relevant fields
• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks
• Exceptional strategic thinking and communication skills
• Strong track record in team leadership
Influence legislative outcomes and enhance IESO's effectiveness in meeting Ontario’s electricity needs.
