Drive legislative change as the Manager of Government Affairs ure effective stakeholder collaboration and oversight to advance IESO's strategies in Ontario’s energy sector.

This role is pivotal in bridging IESO with government stakeholders, fostering discussions that shape provincial energy policies. You will manage the Government Affairs team, ensuring alignment with business objectives while navigating complex legislative environments. Your expertise will guide engagements with senior executives and facilitate collaboration on sensitive matters such as labour relations and compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with government and IESO internal teams

• Lead strategy discussions impacting IESO’s legislative goals

• Present objectives and insights to government officials

• Coordinate on HR and legislative strategy issues

• Mentor the Government Affairs team for successful outcomes

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8-10 years in governmental affairs

• Advanced degree in business or political science

• In-depth knowledge of the legislative landscape

• Proven track record in leadership and stakeholder engagement

• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills
