The Legislative Protective Services Branch is seeking experienced Peace Officers who are ready to contribute to Ontario's parliamentary operations. Here, you'll leverage your law enforcement experience, maintain order, and address security issues effectively. Collaborating with a team of Officers and Sergeants, your role will be pivotal in providing efficient administrative and procedural services to the Members of Provincial Parliament and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act lawfully and uphold established policies
• Provide exceptional service to MPPs and the public
• Conduct patrols and control access within secure areas
• Respond to various emergencies and security breaches
• Document investigations and submit comprehensive reports
Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma or post-secondary education
• Relevant police training and prior experience
• Class G license holder
• Physically and mentally prepared for duties
• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
