Join the Canadian Unitarian Council as a Congregational Life Staff member on a full-time, two-year contract. Engage with UU congregations to support transitions and build healthy communities across Canada.
This role at CUC requires a commitment to Unitarian Universalist values and knowledge of congregational life and ministerial processes. You will facilitate relationships, aid governance and conflict resolution, and assist in resource curation. As part of a transformative initiative, you'll help congregations adjust to a new religious landscape while fostering connections between communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support congregations through leadership transitions
• Curate resources for healthy congregational life
• Facilitate relationship-building among communities
• Assist with governance and volunteer engagement
• Navigate challenges in the changing religious landscape
Requirements:
• Strong commitment to Unitarian Universalist values
• Knowledge of UU ministerial processes and polity
• Skilled in facilitation and conflict management
• Experience with volunteer engagement
• Post-secondary degree in related fields
