Senior Manager for Government Relations Strategy

Lead TELUS's strategic government relations efforts as a Senior Strategy Manager focused on Fibre projects in Ontario. Your leadership will facilitate growth and regulatory compliance in municipal engagements.

This role demands expertise in developing a coherent strategy that governs municipal engagement across TELUS’s fibre initiatives in Ontario. You will champion government relations engagements across various political and operational levels and drive the permitting process to enhance the fibre build pipeline in Eastern Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and govern a unified fibre municipal engagement strategy

• Lead government relations initiatives across Eastern Canada

• Enable municipal engagement to streamline the build pipeline

• Oversee the regulatory and permitting acquisition processes

• Coordinate efforts between municipal engagement and Fibre teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area or equivalent

• Over 5 years in municipal affairs or telecom programs

• Deep understanding of permitting and regulatory environments

• Experience in a collaborative and fast-paced work environment

• Bilingual in French and English a valuable advantage
