Become a key player with the Canadian Unitarian Council as a full-time Congregational Life staff member for a two-year term. Support UU communities across Canada in navigating change and building resilient connections.
In this influential role, you will engage directly with UU congregations, providing support during ministerial transitions and facilitating resource curation for vibrant congregational life. A strong understanding of governance, conflict management, and relationship-building is essential. The CUC is focusing on reimagining support for congregations during this transformative period.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with congregations during transitions
• Curate vital resources for congregational support
• Build strong connections between diverse communities
• Manage conflict and support governance processes
• Adapt to the changes in religious practices
Requirements:
• Deep commitment to Unitarian Universalist values
• Knowledge of UU governance and polity
• Skilled in facilitation and building relationships
• Experience in conflict resolution
• Degree in social work, theology, or related areas
