Candidates will operate fire service equipment, conduct inspections, and maintain readiness for various emergencies while adhering to safety protocols.

Your role is essential to protect the public and provide emergency services efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls promptly

• Operate firefighting equipment and vehicles safely

• Conduct equipment maintenance and inspections regularly

• Clean and maintain fire station and grounds thoroughly

• Educate the public about fire safety and prevention

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older

• Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence class D or higher

• Completion of OFAI Candidate Testing Services certificates

• NFPA 1001 Level 1 & 2 certification required

• Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification needed
