Regulatory Inspector for AGCO

Join the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario as a Regulatory Inspector. Engage in compliance activities across alcohol, gaming, and cannabis sectors in Northern Ontario, ensuring adherence to regulations and best practices.

This full-time contract role lasts up to 12 months and involves risk-based inspections within the AGCO’s mandate. As a Regulatory Inspector, you will need demonstrated experience in compliance, exceptional report writing skills, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders. Daily activities include conducting inspections, educating stakeholders, and preparing detailed reports to maintain high standards of regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk-based compliance inspections across regulated sectors

• Support AGCO's compliance objectives and provide stakeholder education

• Document inspections thoroughly, maintaining detailed logs of activities

• Prepare internal inspection reports as per established protocols

• Travel within Ontario as required, maintaining flexible hours

Requirements:

• Experience in regulatory enforcement and inspection processes

• Strong report writing and organizational skills

• Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders

• Province-wide travel with a valid Ontario Class “G” licence

• Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines
