Manager of Government Relations

Lead impactful public policy initiatives as the Government Relations Manager at Restaurant Brands International. Engage directly with government stakeholders and drive strategic advocacy efforts.

In this Toronto- or Ottawa-based role, you will utilize over five years of government experience to connect business strategies with public policy goals. Your responsibilities will include monitoring legislative developments and coordinating with restaurant owners to advance industry priorities. Collaborate with senior leaders to communicate effectively and shape the narrative for TIM HORTONS®, BURGER KING®, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate emerging legislative activities' impact on RBI brands

• Implement government relations and stakeholder engagement plans

• Coordinate policy working groups with industry leaders

• Advise on messaging strategies for various audiences

• Develop materials for internal and external communication

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in public policy or similar discipline

• 5+ years of relevant government experience

• Strong grasp of Canadian decision-making processes

• Proven track record in policy advocacy

• Creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail
