As the Associate Director for Government Relations, you will drive EQ Bank's advocacy strategies across all government levels.
Your role as a trusted advisor involves analyzing legislative developments, preparing advocacy materials, and maintaining relationships with government officials and industry stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute advocacy strategies and government relations

• Build relationships with key government and industry stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with lobbying regulations and ethical standards
Requirements:
• 8–10 years in government relations or public affairs
• Strong understanding of the Canadian regulatory environment
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders effectively
• Familiarity with the federal Lobbying Act and relevant policies
