In this role, reporting to the Indigenous Relations Senior Manager, you will work closely with the Williams Treaty First Nations and Saugeen Ojibway Nation. You will implement Aecon’s Indigenous Relations Strategy, develop community partnership initiatives, and act as a liaison between project teams and local communities to enhance engagement and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Indigenous Relations Strategy in communities
• Build and manage community partnerships and initiatives
• Coordinate procurement and training with project teams
• Ensure effective communication with rights holders
• Maintain records and support analysis
Requirements:
• 2-3 years' experience in Indigenous engagement
• Knowledge of Indigenous governance and culture
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Local Indigenous experience is beneficial
Support crucial engagement and connection with communities while influencing future infrastructure at Aecon.
