Become a pivotal Policy Advisor at the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, located in Toronto, ON. This full-time position demands analytical skills and experience in public policy.

The AGCO seeks a Policy Advisor to enhance its Strategic Policy and Market Insights Branch. This role includes developing and analyzing regulatory policies that ensure the integrity of Ontario's alcohol, gaming, and cannabis sectors. Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to drive effective policy solutions in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design of impactful policy using relevant research

• Provide analytical support to various policy initiatives

• Analyze industry data for evidence-based policy recommendations

• Track developments and issues affecting regulations

• Assist in stakeholder consultations to align priorities

Requirements:

• Background in Public Policy, Political Science, or Economics

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• Experience with policy development in public sector

• Ability to synthesize complex information clearly

• Knowledge of the Cannabis Licence Act and Gaming Control Act
