Seize the opportunity to work as a Policy Advisor with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario in Toronto. This full-time, in-office role focuses on meaningful policy development and regulatory analysis.
As a Policy Advisor, you will play a vital role in the Strategic Policy and Market Insights Branch r tasks will involve analyzing policies, developing standards, and examining regulatory frameworks that govern Ontario's alcohol and gaming sectors. Collaborate across teams to ensure policies are well-informed and stakeholder-driven.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare effective policies using relevant research data
• Provide support for policy development initiatives
• Analyze data to make informed policy recommendations
• Monitor relevant industry developments within Ontario and beyond
• Facilitate stakeholder consultations to align with AGCO priorities
Requirements:
• Degree or experience in Public Policy, Law or Economics
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Prior experience in government policy development
• Capability to synthesize large data volumes
• Familiarity with Gaming and Cannabis legislation
