Our vibrant and busy downtown hair salon is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Hairstylist or Hair Salon Assistant / Apprentice to join our dynamic team. We are a small business with lots of opportunity to learn and grow within our team. No pressure to build clientele because we work as a team and none of us have our own clients! We would like someone LONG term who can grow over time.

Depending on your experience, stylist or a Hair Salon Assistant , your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Shampooing clients' hair
• Assisting stylists with blow-drying and styling
• Assisting colour applications
• Foiling, applying colour
• Washing and folding towels
• Exceptional customer service
• Maintaining a tidy and well-kept working environment

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or a recent graduate from hair school
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of the latest hair care products and trends
• Friendly, outgoing personality!
