We offer comprehensive Outpatient services that focus on Assessment and Treatment/management for Addictions, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, ADHD, and more. Our clinics address diverse issues across various populations, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
We are looking for an experienced Naturopathic Doctor (ND) with special interest in mental health, who provides personalized, holistic care to individuals dealing with psychological challenges and women’s health issues, including hormonal imbalances, perimenopause, and menopause. You will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team that includes Psychiatrists, Psychologists, therapists and other health professionals, all working toward the shared goal of improving our clients’ well-being.
In this role, you will provide naturopathic care through individualized treatment plans, which may include supplements, acupuncture, nutrition counseling, and other naturopathic modalities. You will also have the opportunity to offer specialized care for clients navigating menopause and other women’s health concerns.
This role can be based out of any of our offices in Hamilton, Mississauga or Toronto. 1-3 days in person availability at 1 or 2 sites is required.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ physical, mental, and emotional health to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide naturopathic care for individuals with mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and stress management.
- Support women’s health across various life stages, with a focus on hormonal imbalances, menstrual health, and menopause-related issues.
- Offer specialized care and treatment for clients experiencing perimenopause and menopause, using evidence-based natural therapies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated, holistic care for clients.
- Educate clients on lifestyle changes, nutrition, and natural therapies to support mental health and overall wellness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and practices in naturopathic medicine, particularly in the areas of mental health, women’s health, and menopause.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation.
- Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) from a recognized institution.
- Current registration with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).
- Specialization or significant experience in women’s health and mental health.
- Ideally have IVIT certification
- Must have successfully passed the CONO prescribing exam
- Ideally hold a certification in menopause care (e.g., Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP)) or actively pursuing
- Experience or training in supporting clients with perimenopausal or menopausal symptoms is highly preferred.
- Knowledge and expertise in naturopathic treatments for mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and stress management.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
