- Manage and oversee operations of Pharmacy Care Clinic.
- Complete patient assessments and, if needed, prescribe new medications or extend existing ones.
- Travel for health consultations.
- Manage chronic disease programs.
- Conduct annual patient medication reviews and perform required follow‑ups.
- Ensure care clinic processes and documentation meet regulatory compliance.
- Administer medications by injection.
- Provide point‑of‑care screening and swabs.
- Issue lab requisitions and interpret lab results (if provincial legislation allows).
- Collaborate with other HCPs to establish circles of care.
- Counsel patients on prescription medication use.
- Support dispensary activity and overall pharmacy workflow.
- Maintain continuity of care with other health‑care providers.
- Assist in developing and implementing industry‑leading clinical services and programs.
- Stay current on industry trends, laws, and regulations regarding pharmacist expanded scope.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd., including operational responsibilities.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, fully licensed in the province of employment, in good standing.
- Injection certification required.
- Additional accreditations (e.g., CDE, CRE, CTH) are an asset.
- Prescribing authorization required.
- Highly organized, takes initiative, and strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Effective planning and time‑management skills.
- Minimal direction needed; capable of working independently.
