Body Stats is a health enhancement business specializing in DEXA scans, VO2 max testing, and nutritional reviews. Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and fitness-minded Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting DEXA scans, VO2 max tests, and assisting clients in understanding their results. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct DEXA scans and VO2 max tests with precision and professionalism, as well as RMR tests for clients
- Guide clients through the testing process and ensure they feel comfortable and informed
- Explain test procedures and results clearly and accurately
- Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate measurements
- Ensure a clean and organized testing environment
- Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients
- Support the team with administrative tasks as needed
- MRT certified - must hold an accredited MRT program and hold a current Certificate of Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Must be willing to be the Radiation Protection Officer (RPO) as well as the MRT to conduct Dexa Scans
- Passion for health and fitness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and capable of following precise protocols
- Comfortable with technology and learning new equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in fitness, health, or a related field is an asset but not required (training will be provided)
