Role Description

This is a full‑time or part‑time, on‑site role for an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The role involves conducting hearing assessments, diagnosing hearing impairments, and fitting and servicing hearing aids and other auditory devices. The professional will counsel and educate patients on their hearing health, recommend personalized treatment plans, and ensure patient satisfaction with ongoing support.

Administrative duties, such as maintaining accurate patient records and collaborating with the team, are also part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and experience in conducting hearing assessments, interpreting audiometric data, and fitting hearing aids and auditory devices.
  • Proficiency in counseling and educating patients on hearing health and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Skills in troubleshooting and maintaining auditory devices to ensure optimal performance for patients.
  • Excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Registration with an accredited professional body as an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS).
  • Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is an asset.
