Registered Massage Therapist

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and knowledgeable RMT who believes in empowering patients through evidence-based therapies/techniques and collaborative care. Here’s a chance to be a part of a new wellness space that Toronto has never seen before!

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ conditions, including reviewing medical history and discussing their concerns and goals
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients’ needs and preferences
• Provide various massage techniques, such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, etc.
• Adjust pressure, techniques, and treatment plans based on clients’ feedback and comfort levels
• Educate clients on self-care techniques, stretching exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance the benefits of massage therapy
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client assessments, treatments, and progress
• Laundry duty, including washing, drying and folding sheets between patients
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists and chiropractors, to ensure comprehensive client care

• Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) certification from a recognized institution
• Valid license to practice as an RMT in Ontario
• Valid Malpractice Insurance
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as an RMT, preferably in a clinic or spa setting
• Proficiency in various massage techniques
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively understand clients’ needs and provide appropriate treatments
• Ability to adapt massage techniques and treatment plans based on clients’ preference, comfort levels, and specific conditions
• Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to help clients improve their well-being
• Professionalism and adherence to ethical standards in client care and confidentiality
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on the latest massage therapy techniques and research
• Bonus if trained in Hot stone, Structrual integration (ATSI), Sports massage, lymphatic drainage, Acupuncture and Cupping
