This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Scientist based in Etobicoke, ON. The Associate Scientist will develop, and validating bioanalytical assays to support testing needs. This includes conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, and documenting results. The role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality test results for client-specific projects and regulatory submissions.
Qualifications- Master's or BSc (with a minimum of 2 years experience working in a bioanaltyical laboratory) in Biochemistry, Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field
- Strong laboratory skills in molecular and cell-biologys techniques.
- Hands on expertise in mammalian cell culture, immunoassays, flow cytometry and PCR.
- Experience with bioanalytical assay development, validation, and execution for large molecule therapeutics.
- Proficiency in data analysis, and scientific documentation.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines.
- Proven collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Prior experience working in a regulated environment is a strong asset.
- Successful candidate will be working in a controlled regulatory compliant biosafety level 2 laboratory environment and office.
