Agropur is looking for Health and Safety Advisor (vacant position) to join is Don Mills team.

Salary range 004: Échelle salariale 004: $80,200 to $100,300 (Le salaire de base sera déterminé en fonction de votre formation académique, expérience, formation et vos compétences liées au poste.)
What’s involved in this role:
More specifically, the Don Mills Health and Safety Advisor’s responsibilities will include:
Develop a Preventive Culture where Health and Safety is a value that will never be compromised.
Lead the site in the deployment of Agropur H&S management system and the site H&S programs and tools
Counsel, influence, coordinate and guide teams to deliver Health and Safety performance, risk reduction objectives and execution of the H&S fundamentals:
Support/coach/monitor site leading indicators (H&S Fundamentals/key preventive activities).
Ensure the improvement of safety results and make recommendations to achieve the site objectives.
Facilitate and coach RCAs to eliminate risks and hazards.
Support the site in defining/closing/monitoring CAPA from audits, regulatory reviews and/or investigations.
Actively participate in Gemba walks/BOS and/or site H&S inspections.
Participate in the site’s operational reviews (DDS, WDS, etc.).
Lead and/or actively participate in the JHSC and if required sub-committees.
Coordinate and support the development of Health and Safety competencies at the site.
Support the development of Health and Safety competencies at the site.
Provide guidance and technical assistance to ensure the implementation of major H&S programs.
Act as a coach for all Plant personnel.
What you need to join our team:
Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field.
5 to 7 years in a health and safety position in a manufacturing environment.
Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills.
Willing and able to travel to other facilities within the region as needed.
