Responsibilities- Assign projects to subordinates and staff related to work safety, environmental safety, and accident prevention.
- Provide information/training to employers, employees and the general public.
- Review HR directives to assure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Train staff.
- Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards.
- Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses.
- Develop and implement health and safety plans.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Oversee the preparation of reports.
- Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
Area of work experience:
Professional health care education.
