A major Ontario hospital system is seeking courtesy surgical assistants for their Department of Surgery. The successful candidates will primarily work at Etobicoke General Hospital with opportunities to assist at Brampton Civic Hospital. Responsibilities include managing instruments and maintaining a sterile field. Prior surgical assisting experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. Remuneration is fee-for-service with additional on-call stipend.
