Home Care Aide

Position: Permanent Full-Time Home Care Aide
Become a Home Care Aide with the Gray Family in Scarborough, ON. This full-time position provides essential support and companionship to an elderly woman with a disability.

This role involves 30-40 hours of on-site work, emphasizing personal care, social interaction, and basic housekeeping. You're required to assist with hygiene, prepare nutritious meals, and encourage healthy activities. While experience is an asset, it is not mandatory. Public transport is available for easy access to the location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Care for the client’s personal hygiene and well-being

• Cook and serve balanced meals tailored to dietary needs

• Support walking and other regular exercises

• Mend clothing and household linens as needed

• Conduct light housekeeping tasks within the home

Requirements:

• Completion of high school education is required

• Must pass a criminal record check for safety reasons

• Comfortable handling up to 20 lbs of weight

• Must possess reliability and initiative

• Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada
