NYGH Respiratory Therapist – Critical Care Unit

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively within interprofessional care teams

• Manage and supervise ventilation strategies and airway interventions

• Support neonatal resuscitation and Code Team responses

• Conduct diagnostic tests and supervise therapy students

• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory health

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution

• Active registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario

• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications

• Proven experience in intubation procedures

• Neonatal intubation experience is an asset
