Deafblind Community Intervenor in East Danforth

Support individuals who are deafblind as a Part Time Intervenor with Sensity in East Danforth, ON. Enhance their independence through tailored communication and daily living assistance.

Sensity is committed to empowering the deafblind community and is looking for passionate individuals to fill a part time Intervenor position. In this role, you will work 20-24 hours weekly on a rotational schedule, providing critical support through personal care, communication techniques, and fostering goals. You will help clients thrive in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support clients in various environments

• Implement communication techniques effectively

• Assist with essential daily living tasks

• Provide necessary personal care during interactions

• Ensure comprehensive documentation of client progress

Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in a relevant field

• Experience with developmental and mental health support

• Proficiency in ASL or SEE communication

• Valid Class G driver’s license

• Capable of lifting moderate weights occasionally
