Care Rx is actively seeking future Registered Pharmacy Technicians ready to support senior care pharmacy services. Join our team to enhance the medication needs of Canadians living in long-term care and retirement communities.
In this role, you will be pivotal in assisting pharmacists and developing expertise in advanced pharmaceutical practices. Your contributions will focus on geriatrics and palliative care as well as medication management. Emphasizing accuracy in compounding and compliance packaging ensures the highest standards in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aid in preparation and distribution of prescriptions
• Check that all prescriptions are accurate and complete
• Verify data accuracy in eMAR and Kroll systems
• Handle documentation ethically and confidentially
• Help maintain an orderly pharmacy environment
Requirements:
• Must be registered with a provincial College of Pharmacists
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy is advantageous
• Familiarity with KROLL systems is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work under pressure
