Sunnybrook’s Odette Cancer Centre seeks a full time Medical Physicist to join its dynamic Medical Physics Department. This role supports the yearly care of over 7500 patients, while focusing on innovative approaches in radiotherapy research. Successful candidates will collaborate with experts at the University of Toronto's Department of Radiation Oncology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead acceptance and commissioning processes for equipment
• Innovate clinical techniques in radiotherapy
• Support a range of treatment services through physics expertise
• Foster quality improvements and patient-centered initiatives
• Collaborate with oncologists and therapists in patient care
Requirements:
• Eligible for medical physicist qualification in Canada
• Strong communication and leadership expertise
• Background in project management and research is advantageous
• Involvement in teaching and residency is encouraged
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
