Position: LifeLabs Patient Technician Part-Time Role
Become a Lab Patient Technician with Life Labs in the Greater Toronto Area, working part-time in North York, Scarborough, and Durham. This six-month contract emphasizes patient interaction and specimen handling.

As a member of Life Labs, you will greet patients, conduct phlebotomies, and manage ECG procedures, ensuring seamless collection and documentation. The position requires good communication, adaptability, and a strong sense of privacy towards patient information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and clarify testing procedures

• Perform phlebotomy and ECG tracings accurately

• Manage collection of special testing specimens

• Address client queries and maintain follow-up

• Input patient and requisition data into the system

Requirements:

• Laboratory Assistant program graduate or equivalent preferred

• Preferable phlebotomy and ECG training/experience

• Excellent communication and service orientation

• Computer proficiency with a minimum 40 wpm typing speed

• Commitment to patient confidentiality standards
