This role as an Activation Aide is pivotal within Sienna's long-term care team, focusing on the well-being of our seniors. You will design programs reflecting individual preferences, encouraging social interaction and celebrating each resident's unique journey. Your work will enhance their daily lives and foster a sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop recreational programs based on resident preferences

• Cultivate relationships with seniors and families

• Observe and assess resident engagement

• Document participation as per guidelines

• Organize and lead activities that promote interaction

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in recreation, gerontology, or relevant field

• Prior experience working with seniors

• Knowledge of recreation and leisure principles

• Eligibility to work in Canada

• Passing of required vulnerability checks
