Make a meaningful impact at Metro as a part-time Pharmacy Assistant in Toronto, ON, managing crucial pharmacy services and supporting the customer experience.
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play an integral role in various pharmacy functions, collaborating closely with pharmacists and managers. The position demands expertise in technical dispensing processes, managing patient records, and fulfilling prescription requests. You'll also be tasked with customer support and maintaining pharmacy inventory integrity under strict health regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute all technical dispensing tasks effectively
• Receive and manage prescription refill requests
• Maintain accurate patient profiles and records
• Provide assistance and service on the sales floor
• Handle inventory processes and ensure proper storage
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Assistant program
• Minimum 2 years of retail pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Kroll and MS Office software
• Strong language skills for effective communication
• Initiative to work independently and manage time efficiently
