Position: Pharmacist Opportunity General
UHN seeks a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for Toronto General Hospital. In this full-time role, you will provide crucial pharmacy services to inpatient surgical wards while ensuring the highest safety standards.

You will need a Bachelor's in Pharmacy and hospital pharmacy experience to navigate medication orders and ensure patient care efficacy. Collaborating with healthcare teams, you will identify and resolve drug therapy issues while engaging in clinical education and research initiatives. Your organizational skills will play a vital role in seamless pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medication orders and monitor therapy

• Conduct medication reconciliations and history interviews

• Mentor pharmacy technicians and support clinical activities

• Address drug inquiries and enhance patient education

• Follow-up on medication incidents for safety improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy required

• Active registration with Ontario College of Pharmacists

• Experience in hospital pharmacy settings necessary

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational abilities and customer service mindset
