In this role, you will assist with daily living activities while fostering emotional well-being through compassionate communication. Your proactive observations and documentation skills will play an essential role in enhancing the interdisciplinary team’s responsiveness to patient needs. Meeting each patient where they are will ensure they feel respected during their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure constant patient observation for safety

• Provide emotional and psychosocial support

• Assist with patient transfers to medical appointments

• Carry out care tasks under the direction of nursing staff

• Document patient care details accurately

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program

• Registered with HSCPOA

• CPR (Heartsaver or BCLS) and First Aid certified

• Prior caregiving experience preferred

• Basic knowledge of patient care standards
