This temporary full-time role focuses on providing physiotherapy services within the Complex Continuing Care unit and related areas. The physiotherapist will support patients in achieving their physical and functional goals, fostering independence in daily living. As an integral team member, you'll collaborate closely with Clinical Managers to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical assessments and care planning for diverse populations

• Deliver treatment interventions and oversee discharge planning

• Mentor and instruct physiotherapy students and assistants

• Implement evidence-based client-centered care strategies

• Collaborate with inter-professional teams for optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Valid license with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario

• Experience with geriatric and neurological populations preferred

• Ability to teach and mentor physiotherapy students

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Meditech
