Environmental Services Materials Handler

In your position as a Materials Handler, you will undertake responsibilities that include waste collection, equipment washing, and maintaining orderly garbage disposal areas. Candidates should meet educational and experiential qualifications, including being a licensed tow motor driver.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather garbage from designated sites

• Dispose of hospital waste in a safe manner

• Wash carts and equipment as needed

• Maintain cleanliness in garbage areas

• Complete other assigned tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 11 education or equivalent

• At least 1 year of healthcare experience

• Preferred background in Environmental Services

• Must hold a tow motor license or learn

• Completion of WHMIS training
